The styles changed as the town grew from south to the north. Two stories and Cape Cod styles with larger square footage homes were built in the late 50's, 60's and 70's.

Houses in first and second filings are divided by Midway Boulevard (numerically Midway would be 5th Avenue but it was never called 5th Avenue) and Midway Park, a wonderful place to hang out, picnic, read and play games. Broomfield Days is a celebration every September in
the Midway Park, a great event for everyone! Close to stores, banks, medical, dental and other professional office.
First Filing is bordering the City Park where you can
walk to the Library, Government Office, U.S. Post Office, Ball Park, grocery store and more. The Community Park is filled with summer and winter entertainment such as concerts and plays. Broomfield Swim and Tennis Club is a private club.
There are restaurants from fast food to fine dining within a 10 minute drive. Hardware and lumber stores, hobby shops, Hallmark's, Kohls Department Store, Target, Kmart and a number of specialty stores nearby. The Flatiron's Mall and AMC Theaters are 10 minutes from Broomfield Heights neighborhood.
