Sunnyslope Estates is a bit of country living now in the center of Broomfield between Lowell Blvd and Sheridan Blvd. Located off of 136th Avenue, the area was annexed into Broomfield in 2000 and all the streets were repaved and the water and sewer lines were installed at that time. Just south of the Broadlands golf course and north of the Broomfield County Commons park area with soccer fields, baseball fields, nature trails and bike paths thru the open space park. Many homes are still on individual septic systems.

The subdivision has red brick walls and sidewalks along 136th Avenue with little traffic on the neighborhood streets. Rural Route mailboxes lend that little farm feeling to the area. Many grandparents still live in the area and yet more young children are riding their bikes to school or playing in the yards.

Electricity in Sunnyslope comes from United Power Electric Coop with overhead powerlines at the rear of most lots. Natural gas is from Xcel Energy. Comcast Cable provides high speed internet access. Qwest telephone service does not have DSL available as of 2009 in most of the subdivision.

Schools are in the highly rated Adams County 5 Star, Coyote Ridge Elementary, Westlake Middle School, Legacy High School.
