Commerce City was a community of about three square miles that was a quiet little town with some profitable oil refineries located in a commercial area of the city.  Today it encompasses aproximately 64 square miles and is home to one of the largest soccer complexes in the United States.  Dick’s Sporting Goods Park has 24 fields, a stadium and a training field for the Rapids, Colorado’s professional soccer team.  Just south of it is the Northfield Mall with all the restaurants and shops you could want.

Another part of Buffalo Run is named “The Villages”.  There are beautiful re-sale homes located here with all the bells and whistles already installed, and they are near the golf course.  The golf course opened in the late summer of 1996 and was designed by Keith Foster, a well known golf course architect, who has stated,  “Buffalo Run, will in time, become recognized statewide as a bold and powerful golf course”.  Besides being a great place to play a round the course is host to a number of prestigious tournaments.  Green fees are reasonable with both resident and non-resident rates.  Corporate memberships are also available and can be a great business asset to entertain that client from out of town.  If you happen to get hungry there is a very nice restaurant right on site featuring every thing from soup to burgers to steak.

Once again, you are conveniently located with the airport near by, I-76 within two miles, E-470, and downtown Denver, and LoDo, only 18 miles away.

One of the brand new areas in the community is Buffalo Run East with homes from $219,900 to $353,995 being built by Richmond American Homes.  So you still have the opportunity to purchase brand new in this outstanding area in Commerce City.
