The City of Golden Colorado is easily accessible from the Denver area via several major roadways, including I-70, C-470, US Highway 6 and State Highway 58. Located in the foothills west of Denver, and home to the Coors brewing plant, Golden has an almost mountain town feel to it.

Apple Meadows Homes - Located just North of 58th Ave. and East of Hwy. 93, the Apple Meadows neighborhood features homes built in the 1970's. Many have been updated and the community has mature trees, landscaping and is reasonably priced.
Applewood Homes - The 'Applewood' area covers a wide range of homes and neighborhoods. First developed in the 50's, many of the homes have additions, remodels and even some scrapes and rebuilds. The area is huge and prices range from the 100's to over $1 million.
Blue Mountain Ranch Homes - Million plus dollar luxury homes at the foot of the moutains with panaramic views.
Canyon Point Homes - The houses in Canyon Point were built in the late 1990's, most of them are on hillsides and are fairly large with great mountain views. Prices generally start in the low $500's.
Genesee Homes - The Genesee area is wide ranging on both sides of I-70. The homes range from 100 year old mountain cabins to mountainside estates in the millions of dollars. It all depends on which neighborhood, the view, how new and extravagant the house is, etc.
North Table Mountain Homes - North Table mountain is also divided into different neighborhoods; North Table Mountain Village and the North Table Mountain homes. Both are upper end, semi to fully custom homes, most with spectacular views.
Pleasant View Homes - The Pleasant View neighborhood is older and located near the junction of West 6th Ave, I-70, and West Colfax. The homes are mostly in the $200k price range.
Attractions
Golden was founded during the gold rush of 1859, and most sources agree that the town was named for settler Tom Golden, one of the early gulch miners who panned gold in the valley of Clear Creek. Golden has ten museums, a record for a town of 7.9 square miles with 17,000 people plus numerous other attractions Golden Colorado Attractions
. The different museums include history, mountaineering, railroads, fossils, art, quilts, living History Park, and geology.
