Littleton Colorado Homes
The City of Littleton, Colorado is a town that has changed greatly from its roots as a supply area for the gold rush seekers of the Pikes Peak gold rush of 1859. Richard Sullivan Little is the engineer and town's namesake who was responsible for laying out many of the ditches in the area. Also for homesteading, filing a plat and subdividing much of present day Littleton. As Denver expanded and reached the borders, growth in Littleton took off.
The area today is a range of subdivisions, and some acreage tracts of open space. Housing in Littleton is varied with many choices to suit almost any tastes. Close to downtown Denver, west of I-25, Littleton has an enviable location, excellent schools and a progressive government.

The following is a list of some of the neighborhoods, subdivisions and communities in Littleton. Chatfield Homes - The area surrounding Chatfield Reservoir including Chatfield Bluffs, Chatfield Farms, and Chatfield Green.
Chatfield Bluffs Homes - Chatfield Bluffs homes were mostly built in the late 1990's by Engle homes and are just North of Chatfield Reservoir close to C-470.
Chatfield Farms Homes - Desirable location near Roxborough State Park and Chatfield State Park. Homes built by Ryland in the mid 2000's and priced between $300's to $500's.
Chatfield Green Homes - Also known as Trailmark, these Chatfield Green Homes were built by Shea in the early 2000's. Priced from $300's to $600's.
Columbine Hills Homes - The Columbine Hills neighborhood was built mostly in the 70's. Many of the homes have been completely remodeled, the area has quick access to C-470 and offers mid to larger sized lots with mature trees.
Governors Ranch Homes - Located near southwest plaza, between Belleview Ave. and Bowles Ave., these houses were built mostly in the 80's and have prices that range in the high $200's to $300's.
Highlands Ranch Homes - The Highlands Ranch area is huge. Streching across almost the entire south metro area with homes ranging from the $100's and built in the 80's to multi million dollars mansions in the more upscale nieghborhoods.
Ken Caryl Ranch Homes - A private enclave of homes tucked behind the hogback West of C-470 on Ken-Caryl Avenue.
Polo
Reserve Homes - An upscale, gated community of mostly million dollar plus homes are large lots. The neighborhood has an equestrian center, polo field and lake in the community.
Powderhorn Homes - Powderhorn consists of a variety of tract home subdivisions with 2-story and ranch homes built in the 1980's and 1990's and priced from $200's to $600's.
Roxborough Homes - Roxborough offers a wide variety of home styles in various subdivisions, located south of Chatfield State Park and nestled against the foothills. Homes prices range from modestly priced homes starting at $100's to luxury homes in the $500's.
