Located approximately 10 miles north of LoDo (downtown Denver), the city's location next to I-25 provides a high visibility area for business with quick access to multiple transportation routes. During the summer and fall months, The City of Thornton offers a range of community activities, including a free concert series at the Recreation Center each Friday evening, and the annual Thorntonfest in September. The festivities beign with a 5K run, followed by live music, food vendors, carnival rides and a car show.

Homestead Hills Homes - Homestead Hills is a newer community and considered one of the nicest in Thornton. The homes have larger lots, generally range from 2,500 to 3,000 sq ft. in size, and most have three or four car garages.
Hunters Glen Homes - Hunters Glen is a pool community with tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball courts, sand volleyball and clubhouse. Most homes are within walking distance to Hunters Glen Elementary School as well as Century Middle School. Easy access to Hunters Glen Lake.
Lake Avery Estates Homes - Lake Avery Estates is an exclusive community of custom homes on large lots (approx. 1/2+ acre) situated around a lake.
Marshall Lake Homes - Marshall Lake is a DR Horton home community built around a small man made lake. These are newer homes built from 2005+.
Northbrook Homes - Northbrook is a newer (2003+ built mostly), quiet neighborhood just North of Horizon High School with wide streets, grid like layout and easy access.

Quebec Run Homes - Quebec Run is another newer community in Thornton with new schools, part of the Adams 12 Five star school district, convenient location, and quick access to DIA, I-25, and E-470.
Signal Creek Homes - Signal Creek is a pool community neighborhood located just south of 136th Ave.
