Adams County school District 12
Five Star District offers a wealth of opportunities
Located just seven miles north of downtown Denver, Adams 12 Five Star Schools is close to the conveniences of a major city center yet far enough to offer the quiet of the suburbs. The five stars represent the five unique communities the district serves: Broomfield, Federal Heights, Northglenn, Thornton and Westminster.
With nearly 39,000 students and more than 5,000 caring staff members, the Five Star District offers families the benefits of a large district with a close knit feel. That’s reflected in the numerous opportunities for students, staff and parents at any of the districts 50 unique learning centers.
The Five Star community has set its mind to improving student performance and this hard work has certainly blossomed into new areas of growth. Adams 12 Five Star Schools has shown the most growth on the CSAP (Colorado Student Assessment Program) tests in the metro area for the second year in a row. The district outpaced the states growth in 2006, making gains on 20 of 25 CSAP tests. The state saw growth on 14 of the tests.

Adams County School District 1

Mapleton covers 18 square miles and serves suburban, rural, and light industrial communities.

Our public schools - all 13 of them - are the heart and pride of our fine community.
Our 6,500-plus students come from all over the world and from diverse economic and social backgrounds. It is our responsibility to provide them with the best education possible. That is why we are dedicated to providing a quality education system that focuses on educating the whole child. We employ bright and talented teachers, administrators, and staff who are committed to making our school district everything it can possibly be.
Brighton School District 27J
The mission of School District 27J, with the support of the family and community, is to ensure that all students have the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for present and future competence and success.
We believe that... All students can learn; success breeds success; and School District 27J - with community support - manage the conditions for success.
The District has many active community members and parents who work with teachers and administrators on policies, curriculum, budget and planning for the future.
